Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting proposals from professional electrical contracting companies to perform on-call services at various City buildings and sites. The electrical contractor shall be employed in the field of installation, sales and repair of electrical systems similar to the equipment used by the City. The electrical contractor will perform various electrical service repair of new installation work, such as: installing new electrical circuits, wiring, outlets, equipment, repairing electrical problems and/or other sundry work as requested by the City that requires the expertise of a licensed electrical contractor. The agreement shall be for a period of two (2) years, with a one (1) year option to renew, based upon contractor performance and costs. The Contractor shall have the ability to service, repair and maintain the electrical service; wiring and equipment associated with the electrical systems at various City buildings. The Dairy Barn at the Van Hoosen Museum is located in the City of Rochester; the contractor will be responsible to apply for and obtain all necessary permits from the communities having jurisdiction.
