Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for the Renovation of the City’s Fire Stations #1, 2, 3, and 5, and for the Construction of Fire Station #4. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, (Lower Level) 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 or through the MITN website until 3:00 P.M. Local Time, TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2015, at which time the names of submitting proposers will be publicly read. A Pre-Proposal Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at the City of Rochester Hills, City Hall Auditorium, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. Auburn Road Rochester Hills, MI Fire Station #4 – Consists of site work (demolition of existing station) and new construction 2723 Walton Blvd Rochester Hills, MI Fire Station #5 – Consists of site work and interior remodel 251 E. Tienken Rochester Hills, MI The services shall be Construction Manager ‘as Constructor’ – Cost of Work Plus Fee with GMP in accordance with the AIA Document A133-2009 with supplemental language. It is the desire of City of Rochester Hills that all components of this project be competitively solicited. The selected construction management firm shall minimally possess successful experience in the areas described in the scope of services. Knowledge of the City of Rochester Hills codes and ordinances is beneficial.
