Summary of Specifications:
The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide COMBINATION SEWER TRUCKS, PARTS, AND RELATED SERVICES to satisfactorily support the Department of Public Services. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division/Fiscal Team, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. local time, on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2010 at which time and place the names of proposers will be publicly read aloud. A pre-proposal conference for the purpose of reviewing the RFP and answering questions regarding the project will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., at the City of Rochester Hills Department of Public Services Maintenance Facility, 511 East Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes Request for Proposal (RFP) documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Vendors are encouraged to register as a vendor at the MITN website to ensure they receive addendum information, if such information is issued. OVERVIEW The City of Rochester Hills (on behalf of themselves, City of Ann Arbor and the City of Troy, collectively known as the “City” or “Cities”) is acting as the Principal Procurement Agency, on behalf of itself and the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance Company (National IPA) (see Attachment A for National Contract requirements), to create a nationwide Master Agreement for the purchase of Combination Sewer Truck(s), parts, and related services.
