Avon Creek in Rochester Hills, Michigan, is part of the Clinton River Area of Concern. The project consists of replacing stream meanders in an 825 linear stretch of Avon Creek, including regenerating storm water swales, pocket wetlands, pond restoration, reconstruction and vegetation management. This project is one of two phases the City is undertaking to restore the stream channelized in the early 1980’s.
