Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids for Calcium Chloride will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division/Fiscal Team, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 until 3:00 p.m. Local time, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2010, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, click on Bid Opportunities and link to MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award. Any deviation from specifications must be noted on the proposal. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS The City is seeking bids on calcium chloride. Bid includes the transportation, materials and application of product. The complete specifications for the calcium chloride are enclosed for your review. Prior to each application the City will provide the selected vendor with street map clearly marked with location to be sprayed. The proposal will be to furnish calcium chloride for March 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. The bid will be for a period of one (1) year.
