Summary of Specifications:
Dated: March 11, 2015: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting sealed proposals to provide and install audio and visual equipment for the Calf Barn at Rochester Hills Museum. Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, (Lower Level) Rochester Hills, MI 48309, until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. Local Time, Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at which time and place names of proposers will be publically read aloud.
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting and walk through has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. (Local Time) at The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm, Calf Barn, 1005 Van Hoosen Road, Rochester, Michigan 48307.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid/proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select Business, Purchasing/Bids, then Quick Links and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the bid. Failure to complete every space on the specification form may disqualify bid.

1. Owner or City shall refer to the City of Rochester Hills.
2. Service Company, Vendor, Contractor, Firm or Proposer shall refer to the company providing proposal, quote or bid for the work outlined in the specifications.
SCOPE OF WORK
The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals for audio and video equipment installation at the Rochester Hills Museum Calf Barn. Proposals must include all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to provide and install a fully functional audio and video system.
The Calf Barn is an adaptive reuse project that encompasses 2,079 square feet of program space. The building is completely climate controlled. The Calf Barn has an occupancy capacity of 150 people. The Calf Barn is used to host events such as City meetings/gathers, club/group meetings, religious group functions, birthday parties, business meetings, wedding receptions, and other social functions.
