Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE OF WORK The Scope of Work includes: drainage structure adjust/recondition/reconstruct; installation of under drains; placement of 6 inch of aggregate base for concrete roads and 4 inch for concrete drives, concrete pavement removal and replacement; restoration; and other miscellaneous items of work. Project location area maps are located in Appendix A. Concrete Slab Replacement [Various Locations] Subdivision Roads The typical existing road cross section consist of 7 inch to 8 inch thick non-reinforced concrete pavement, with integral curb & gutter, placed on existing subgrade. The replacement pavement section consists of 8 inch Concrete Pavement (Non-reinforced) over 6 inch 21AA Aggregate Base. Industrial Roads The typical existing road cross section consist of 9 inch to 10 inch thick non-reinforced concrete pavement, with integral curb & gutter, placed on existing subgrade. The replacement pavement section consists of 10 inch Concrete Pavement (Non-reinforced) over 6 inch 21AA Aggregate Base. Note: The No. 8 and No. 10 dowel bars shall conform to MDOT qualified materials list. Prior to utilization on project, a material supply sheet shall be submitted and approved by the City.
