Summary of Specifications:
The City of Owosso is accepting bids for the demolition and replacement of (2) of the existing primary clarifier influent channel and sludge collection mechanism excluding perimeter rails, baffle and weir and the supply and installation of new equipment,per proposal specifications in the WWTP CLARIFIER EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT bid. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier check, certified check, money order, or bid bond, payable to the City of Owosso, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the proposal, as a proposal guarantee. Proposal guarantee of the bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the contract by the City of Owosso. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract. Contract documents and plans may be obtained at the office of the Bid Coordinator, 301 W. Main Street, Owosso, MI 48867 in accordance with the city’s FOIA Policy or on the MITN website. The City of Owosso reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any proposal in the interest of the city.
