RFP-03-14DPW447 - Fire Protection System Inspection, test, Service & Maintenance

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Livonia is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to perform annual Fire Suppression and Alarm system inspections, testing, service and maintenance for (12) protected facilities owned by the City. The initial service period will be for a period of (2) two years, 2011 and 2012 in which the City, at its discretion may elect to exercise an option to renew the contract for an additional (1) year period. All services shall be performed or provided to ensure compliance with applicable NFPA 25, 72 or 17-2001 standards and requirements for 10th year system operation. All annual inspections, testing and authorized repairs must be completed and invoiced no later than November 30th of each year. Interested parties should provide the requested information to the City no later that 5:00pm March 31, 2011. bond, copies of current licneses, insurances, will require a second inspection in November of each year to verify the integrity of the system.
