Sealed bids for BILLIARD TABLE will be received by the City of Livonia, Michigan, as owner,
until 2:00 p.m. LOCAL TIME, on September 16, 2025 via the MITN website
(WWW.MITN.INFO) at which time said bid proposals will be opened and publicly read. Late
bids will not be considered.
Bids received via the MITN website by the specified due date and time will be publicly opened
at the due date and time via Zoom. Vendors may attend the bid opening virtually by using

Bid proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Director of Finance of the City
of Livonia. Instructions to Bidders and Specifications for items required may be obtained at
from the Purchasing Manager via email at gkandah@livonia.gov
The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bid proposals in whole or in part
and waive any irregularities therein.
Questions regarding the bid shall be submitted in writing to Gus Kandah, Purchasing Manager
at gkandah@livonia.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. All inquiries must be in writing no later
than September 10, 2022.
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS FOR BILLIARD TABLE
1.Sealed bids will be received by the City of Livonia, Michigan, as owner, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on SEPTEMBER 16, 2025 via the MITN website (www.mitn.info) at which time said proposals will be opened and publicly read on Zoom as per the instruction in the advertisement for bids.
2.Bids shall be for items as specified on attached Proposal Form without deviation. No alternates will be accepted. A Manufacturer Specification Sheet for each model or style of item to be supplied shall accompany the bid when applicable.
3.Bids shall be uploaded to the MITN website (www.mitn.info) in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. No physical bids will be accepted. Proposals shall be submitted in strict accordance with the City of Livonia specifications for the items listed herein. Any and all variations from the specifications are to be stated in the bids. Bids submitted by FAX are not acceptable. Late bids will not be considered.
4.Each bid must be submitted on forms provided by the City of Livonia.
5.If any figure already entered on the proposal form by the bidder is to be altered, it shall be crossed out with ink and the new unit price entered above it or below it and initialed by the bidder.
6.The unit price shall be entered where indicated.
7.The bid of any City-based firm may be deemed a better bid than the bid of any competing firm which is not City-based, whenever the bid of such competing firm shall be less than three percent lower than the bid of the City-based firm on any contract in an amount of$100,000 or less, and less than one percent lower on any amount bid in excess thereof. The firm making the lowest bid thus evaluated shall be deemed the lowest bidder.(Section 3.04.140.E. of the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended).
8.It is understood that the quantities of materials to be furnished as stated in the proposal are approximate and are given only as a basis for comparing bids.
9.Unless otherwise specified, delivery shall be to the City of Livonia Recreation Department, 15100 Farmington Road, Livonia, MI 48154.10.All invoices shall be submitted to the City of Livonia on the basis of the unit prices bid within the contract period specified.
