2025 EARMARK ALLEY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The City of Hamtramck is requesting bids for the reconstruction of (9) Nine Alleys, approximately xx LF to be constructed with concrete pavement and the installation and or replacement of storm sewer catch basins and pipe. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2025, and substantially complete by November 1, 2025, and final completion by November 15, 2025.
This project is funded through a State Earmark Grant. The project requires Davis-Bacon prevailing wages. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration of this award.
SEALED BIDS will be accepted at the offices of the City Clerk. Bid must be clearly labeled “HAMTRAMCK 2025 EARMARK ALLEY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT”
Two (2) hard copies of the bid proposals shall be submitted to:

Bids shall be publicly opened and read.

The deadline for Request for Information (RFI) is Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 10 AM (EST).
Contract Documents will be available for download through BidNet services.
Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject all bids or award the project to the most qualified bidder. The OWNER and ENGINEER will further assess the bids based on the following criteria.
