Description

CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Project 17-01-001 (28649 Block)

Dear Rehabilitation Contractor:
Enclosed please find specifications for repair work to be done under the City of Garden
City’s Housing Rehabilitation Program. You are advised to contact the homeowner and
arrange for a convenient time for inspection of the repair work before submitting a bid.
All work is to be completed and invoiced within 60 days of formal notice to proceed.
Proposals must be submitted on the enclosed form. Prices for requested repairs must
be noted on the detailed sheet or your bid will be rejected. Bids for Housing
Rehabilitation case should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Sealed Bid for
Housing Rehabilitation Case #17-01-004”
. Do not show the address on the outside of
the envelope. Proposals will be received in the City Clerk / Treasurer’s office, 6000
Middlebelt, Garden City, MI 48135 on or before 10:00AM on September 28th, 2017.
Proposals and prices will be publicly opened and read. All successful bidders must be
registered with the City of Garden City prior to the start of work. The successful bidder
must comply with all applicable State and Federal regulations and hold all required
licenses for the business they will be doing with the City. All work is to be completed to
current City codes and standards. All appropriate forms and warranties are to be
completed and submitted prior to issuance of payment.
