The City of Garden City is accepting proposals for the
in the City of Garden City, Wayne County, Michigan
The proposed project involves providing spray patch services to rehabilitate six (6) existing concrete
streets throughout the City of Garden City. The Contractor shall be available to start work
immediately upon receiving a written Notice to Proceed of the Contract and complete work within 60
days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

The Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Hamtramck Clerk’s Office, Hamtramck,
Michigan, Hennessey Engineers, Inc., Southgate, Michigan, Construction Association of Michigan,
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Construction Journal LTD, Stuart, Florida and CDC News Construction
Journal, Vero Beach, Florida

Contract Documents will be available starting Thursday, March 8, 2018 after 1:00pm and may be
purchased at: Hennessey Engineers, Inc., 13500 Reeck Road, Southgate, Michigan, 48195
upon payment of a fee of $25.00 per set, $35.00 if mailed, which is nonrefundable. Cash or check
only accepted. Also, plans are now available on CD for a fee of $10.00 per CD or if mailed,

Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in
the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive
any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days
after the date of bid opened.

The Contractor shall be aware that per the City of Garden City Ordinance No. 91-001, no less than
the prevailing salaries and wages noted in the General Wage Decision (Federal Wage Determination)
shall be paid on this Project.
