The City of Dexter provides a wide range of municipal services to approximately 4,500 residents. The City depends upon a technology infrastructure that is linked between several locations.
Information technology services are delivered across multiple locations throughout the City, supporting both essential operations and emergency response functions that require uninterrupted, 24/7 availability. These services are critical to the continued operation of key departments, including Administration, Water, Wastewater, Public Works, Elections, and remote evening meeting support.
The City is seeking a vendor that is able to provide day-to-day assistance via telephone support, email support, remote access and in-person assistance (when other methods are insufficient). These services must be readily available during the City’s operating hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm EST. Emergency services outside of those hours would also be preferred.
The City seeks a firm that has the technical expertise, breadth of experience, and availability to support the information technology needs of a municipal organization, and provide advice to guide its critical infrastructure, security, and software decisions into the future.
