Sealed Bids for N. GENESEE RD SIDEWALK will be received at the office of the City of
Burton until 10:00 AM local time, on January 7th, 2026, by the office of the City Clerk
located at 4303 S. Center Road, Burton, MI 48519. The approximate quantities of major
items of work involved are as follows:
Proposed work will involve two locations along N. Genesee Road:
Location 1: a 5-Ft Wide, 0.53-mile-long concrete sidewalk on the west side of N. Genesee
Road, Extending from the intersection at E. Court Street to the Existing Sidewalk near the
southeast corner of the General Motors Facility.
Location 2: a 5-Ft Wide, 0.46-mile-long concrete sidewalk on the east side of N. Genesee
Road, Extending from the intersection at Davison Road to Briar Lane including cross walks
and a rectangular rapid flashing beacon near Briar Lane.
The issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard,
Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., d/b/a OHM Advisors. Bidding documents may be examined at
the following locations until January 7th 2026, at 10:00 AM.

including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders
should direct correspondence to the ENGINEER.
Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the
amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.
The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in
Bids.
No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled
closing time for receipt of the Bids.
No pre-bid meetings are scheduled for this project.
