The Birmingham Police Department is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the towing and storage of impounded, abandoned, accident and other motor vehicles. The specifications are detailed on the attached sheets.
The City of Birmingham, Michigan will grant to the successful bidder a contract for a period of three (3) years commencing February 26, 2023 and ending February 25, 2026, with an option to extend at the same rate for two (2) additional years through mutual consent.
It is the intent of the City of Birmingham, Michigan to ensure prompt, adequate service with reasonable and uniform costs for towing and storage for the City of Birmingham, and the public at the request of the City.
The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until a written purchase order has been delivered to the successful bidder.
