19-38 - Contract Management and Administration Consultant

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking proposals from consultants to assess and make recommendations related to the City’s contract management and administration process. The consultant will review current contracting practices (including ongoing transitions to OnBase), offer targeted and strategic methods for improvement (with a focus on best practices for a city that is Ann Arbor’s size and make up), advise on policies and procedures to achieve such best practices, and advise on ongoing contract management training for employees. The City envisions entering a contract in early January 2020 and having the consultant complete such assessment and written recommendations before March of 2020.
The City would also like the option to use the consultant to develop training materials and possibly deliver contract management trainings to staff in the future, at the City’s sole discretion.
