The City of Ann Arbor is seeking the services of an agency (firm, nonprofit
organization, private agency) in connection with a City-wide community visioning and
Master Land Use Plan development process. The agency hired will provide consulting
services to lead an extensive, inclusive, and innovative community engagement
process to develop a new master plan that identifies community values, milestones,
and prioritized implementation steps to achieve a viable, sustainable, and accessible
City.
The City is seeking these services for a period of two years, likely starting July 1, 2019,
with the City reserving an option to extend the contract term for up to two additional
one-year periods. This consultant will coordinate work with the Planning Commission,
a recommending body to City Council. The Planning Services Manager will oversee
the direction and quality of work of this consultant.
