RFP-2019-FO-17 - Police Department & DPW Server Room HVAC Units

The Charter Township of Chesterfield’s Facilities & Operations Department is soliciting qualified bids to install new Server Room HVAC units at the following facilities:  
 

5. Chesterfield Township DPW – 52216 Sierra Drive
5. Chesterfield Township Police Station – 46525 Continental Drive

5. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and services required to remove existing units and install new Server Room HVAC units at the DPW and Police Department. It is the responsibility of the contractor to have adequate equipment and staff to perform the specified services under the contract.  In the event of a mechanical breakdown of equipment, the contractor will be expected to provide backup services as required under the terms of the contract.

5. DPW - Furnish and install one new Server Room HVAC unit with appropriate roof penetrations.  Install electrical disconnect. Connect electrical and control wiring to new HVAC unit. Inspect, test and start new HVAC unit to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.

5. Police Station – Disconnect, demo and remove the existing Liebert Server Room RTU. Reclaim refrigerant from the existing system, and dispose of per EPA regulatory standards. Furnish and install one new unit where the original unit was housed. Install a new curb adaptor to accommodate a larger unit. Install economizer, smoke detector, and new electrical disconnects. Reconnect gas piping, electrical, and control wiring to new HVAC unit. Inspect, test and start new HVAC unit to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
