Statement of Qualifications will be reviewed by Orion Township from consultant firms interested in providing Furniture for the Fire Station #3 Administration Addition at 3365 Gregory Rd., DPW Building Addition at 2865 Joslyn Road, and New Orion Twp. Municipal Offices located at a vacant parcel north of 2525 Joslyn Rd..
The Fire Station #3 Administration offices consists of 3,300 SF. A 2,100 SF addition will be added to the existing 11,342 SF building. There will be 1,200 SF of existing space renovated to house the Fire Administration which will include Lobby, Reception, Private Offices, Conference Room, Work Room, Kitchen, and Storage. Occupancy is scheduled for November 2019.
The DPW Building Addition consists of 19,399 SF. A 9,258 SF Addition will be added to the existing 10,141 SF building. Within the Addition there will be Reception, Private Offices, Conference Room, Restrooms, Kitchen, Training Room, 3 Additional Bays, and Support Storage Rooms. Occupancy is scheduled for November 2019.
The Orion Twp. Municipal Offices consist of an estimated 40,000 SF of new construction. There is an estimated 27,000 SF of Lobbies, Conference Rooms, Restrooms, Private Offices, Work Rooms, Kitchens and Storage. An additional 4,100 SF is programmed for Assembly uses related to government operations. An additional 8,400 SF is proposed for a new Oakland County Sherriff Orion Township substation. Occupancy is scheduled for November 2020.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to obtain capabilities from experienced vendors interested in providing design development, specification, procurement, delivery, installation, punch list and warranty / service ability for furniture. Unless otherwise specifically stated, Orion Township shall be represented by the Township Supervisor or his specific designee and no final approval, alteration or modification shall occur without the Township Supervisor’s approval. Final approval of a contract will be made by vote of the Township Board of Trustees.
