The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following:
The Brownstown Fire Department is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to remove and replace the fire station bay doors. This project involves the removal of six (6) 14’ x 14’ sectional fire station bay doors, along with all related hardware and components. The contractor's proposal should include the complete removal, demolition, and proper disposal of all materials and equipment.
The contractor will install six (6) 14’ x 14’ commercial-grade flush panel doors, each featuring a row of tempered, insulated clear lites in the third row, along with the necessary structural framing and operating hardware. The doors must be constructed with front and back steel finishes, and an R-value of at least 13.45. The Fire Department will select the color from a contractor-supplied color chart, specifying red on the exterior and white on the interior.
All installations must comply with the manufacturer's specifications.
