Summary of Specifications:
The Bloomfield Township Department of Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified professional companies to perform landscape maintenance practices on the medians and along the sides of specified State Highways in Bloomfield Township. These practices will include the mowing, trimming and edging of lawns, weeding, mulching and trimming of shrub/perennial beds, tree care/maintenance and irrigation maintenance. The Township intends to award a contract to a Michigan based qualified maintenance company that possesses the appropriate skills, experience and resources to accomplish this task. The contract will be for three (3) years with the possibility of an extension of up to 2 additional years bringing the total to a possible five (5) years, subject to the Township approving the Contractor’s performance after year one (1). PROJECT DESCRIPTION The purpose of this project is to maintain the landscape areas located within the specified medians and along the shoulders of Telegraph Road, Woodward Avenue and Square Lake Road in Bloomfield Township (approximately 86 acres). The project has been divided into 3 main sections: lawn maintenance, shrub/perennial beds & tree rings/tree maintenance and irrigation system maintenance.
Statewide
