The project work consists of improvements at the Wayne County Parks’ Merriman Hollow Park located in the City of Westland, Michigan and generally includes habitat improvements. Habitat improvements include grading, wetland creation and enhancement, native planting installation, invasive species management and log jam removal, 2-year vegetation maintenance, and vegetation warranty and is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency through a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Grant.
