The West Springfield Water Department is preparing to implement a secondary metering system for irrigation water use and will need to replenish its supply of meters and registers to accommodate this system. The Water Department intends to accept bids on new Neptune Model T-10 water meters with ProRead Auto Detect registers. All meters will be equipped with a ProRead absolute encoder register that will be read efficiently with the Trimble Ranger 3XE Handheld Data Collector. The radio read device will communicate customer meter readings into the Water Department’s Neptune N_Sight Mobile meter reading software.
