Description

The Southeastern Regional Services Group (SERSG) invites bids for DPW Services to be performed during the one-year period March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027. Pavement Reclamation, Superpave, and Sidewalk Construction are one-year contract with the option of up to two one-year renewals. The following services are being contracted for one year only. They are: Cold In-Place Recycling; Permanent Trench Patch Repairs; Chip Seal; Rubber Chip Seal; Micro Paving; Cape Sealing; Bonded Wearing Course; Crack Sealing; Polymer-Modified Crack Sealing/Hot Asphaltic Filler; Traffic Line Painting with Chlorinated Rubber, Thermoplastic or Epoxy; Guard Rail Installation; Structure Work; Sub-Drain Installation; Catch Basin Cleaning; Catch Basin Cleaning with Sump Measurement; Tub Grinding; Screening Services; Excavation Services; Snow & Materials Hauling & Disposal; Snow Shoveling on Flat Rooves, On Call Tree Removal and/or Trimming, On Call sewer drain hydro excavation, Delta Mist and E-Fog Applications
Contracts will result with the Towns of Abington, Bellingham, Bridgewater, Canton, Dighton, East Bridgewater, Easton, Foxborough, Hanson, Lakeville, Mansfield, Medfield, Middleborough, Milton, Norfolk, North Attleborough, Norton, Plainville, Raynham, Sharon, Somerset, Stoughton, Swansea, West Bridgewater and Wrentham, and the Cities of Taunton, and Brockton.
The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be available beginning 12:00PM on Wednesday October 22, 2025. Vendors may register at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/sersg to download an Unofficial IFB, which may can be used to bid on items numbered 21-27 and 30-33 only. Sealed bids shall be marked with the bidder's name, "SERSG DPW Services Bid," and the item number(s) being bid. Bids will be received until 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Town of Sharon Town Hall, Attn: Michael Kelly at 90 South Main Street Sharon, MA 02067. Hand-delivered bids will be accepted by The Town of Sharon, Sharon Town Hall Clerks Office 90 South Main Street Sharon, MA 02067. Late bids will not be considered. Bids delivered to the wrong address or office will be considered late. The clock in the Town of Sharon Clerks Office will be definitive.
The bid opening will be held at the Second Floor Meeting Room Town of Sharon Town Hall 90 South Main Street Sharon, MA 02067. No email, telegraph or fax bids will be accepted.
Received bids will be opened and read aloud at 10:00AM Thursday November 20, 2025. All interested parties may attend. Within 5 business days after the bid opening, a Bid Tally along with scans of all received Bids will be posted at www.sersg.org/bids.
Bids may be held by the Southeastern Regional Services Group for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the Contract. Bidders may not withdraw their bids during this period.
Bidders may amend or modify or withdraw their bids if such amendment, modification, or withdrawal is sent in a sealed envelope marked "Amendment, Modification or Withdrawal of SERSG DPW Services Bid", contains the bidder's name and is received at the SERSG Offices by 10:00 AM on Thursday November 20, 2025. No late bids or amendments, modifications or withdrawals will be considered.
