25439131 - Illicit Connection Removal Project

The City of New Bedford is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Stormwater Illicit Connection Removal Project.

The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Furnish and install approximately 1,900 linear feet of new 8-inch through 24-inch drain and sewer pipe, new drain manholes, new catch basins, and catch basin hoods.
- Removing approximately 19 illicit drain connections by redirecting illicit connections from the drain system and into the sanitary sewer system either installing a new sewer pipe connection in the public ROW or redirecting interior plumbing connections.
- Furnish and install approximately 2,400 linear feet of 10 – 15” cured in place lining and perform cementitious manhole lining on manholes adjacent to pipes receiving cured in place lining.
