For Both Groups unless specifically noted otherwise.
1. Contractor must be familiar with and have the ability to perform at a skilled professional level, all work associated with the specification, scope of work, and work requests by the County to the Contractor pursuant to any contract resulting from this Solicitation. The Contractor must have sufficient resources to be able to respond to and complete multiple jobs at any given time.
2. The Contractor must deliver the required units specified on the Quotation Sheet or on an as needed basis to the County.
A. All portable Toilets must be single occupancy.
B. All units shall be clean, free of graffiti, with working door hinges, locks and door latches, venting tubes, louvers and/or screens shall be properly secured to the units with no signs of holes or breakage, toilet seats, and toilet paper holders that are securely attached to the unit base. Units with holes, cracks, or large bubbles in the fiberglass, or breaks, peeling paint, broken hardware or cracked/missing toilet seats will not be accepted.
C. ADA units must include interior railings and ramps and must comply with all ADA standards. All ADA units at a single site must be the same color.
3. The Contractor must begin services for routine work within three (3) calendar days after written request from the County.
4. The Contractor must respond to requests for non-emergency work within twenty-four (24) hours.
5. The Contractor must respond to requests for emergency work within four (4) hours.
6. Units must be cleaned, maintained, and supplied with toilet paper on a weekly basis or as needed to keep the units in a clean and sanitary condition. Maintenance records must be kept inside each unit and consolidated and provided with each invoice.
A. Weekly or additional services must include, but are not limited to, mandatory pumping, cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing the peripheral area around tank including seat, the area around the seat, floor and interior walls.
B. The Contractor is responsible to make any repairs including, but not limited to, door handles, door pulls, hinges, vent screens, wind chains, locks.
C. Toilet paper must be replenished at all services.
D. The Contractor is required to remove all graffiti at their own cost.
7. Contractor must place units as designated by the Contract Administrator or designee which can be located at a variety of locations within Montgomery County, Maryland. All units must be secured to prevent movement of the unit.
8. The Contractor must obtain all necessary permits to perform specific work as required and will be responsible for scheduling inspections and adhering to all applicable State and Local requirements.
9. The Contractor must be able to provide under Group 1, up to thirty (30) regular units and twelve (12) ADA units portable toilets on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. There may be other County Departments with additional needs throughout the Contract Term, in addition to these required units.
10. For Items in Group 2, there is no minimum known quantities at time of IFB issuance. Quantities are dependent on each County event. The contractor will be given prior notice of number required for each event.
