This is a requirements contract for furnishing, loading and stacking the SHA Turfgrass Seed Mix, Turfgrass Sod and Straw Bales, as well as providing all material, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Additionally, the scope includes amending furnished topsoil and furnished subsoil.
Turfgrass Sod furnished under the terms of this Invitation for Bids must conform or exceed to the latest edition of the State of Maryland’s Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials including the latest applicable revisions as well as the requirements of Section D / Technical Requirements of this Invitation for Bids.
Deliveries will be provided to the County depot locations referenced in this solicitation. Deliveries under this Contract will be located within the political boundaries of Montgomery County, Maryland. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to be knowledgeable of the variety and scope of the County roadway infrastructure at the time of bid.
The Bidders are required to use the self-calculating Bid Quotation Sheet spreadsheet included in this IFB package, which is in Excel format. To be eligible for an award, bidders must provide a unit price for each bid item in the spreadsheet which integrates all Terms and Conditions included or referenced herein, as well as provide an amount to be credited to the County for the return of pallets. The attached Bid
Quotation Sheet provides a listing of bid items that may be required during one year of the contract. The completed Bid Quotation Sheet spreadsheet as well as all supporting pages must be converted to PDF format and uploaded to BidnetDirect.com with the Bid Package by the due date on the Invitation for Bids cover sheet.
