The work covered by this section consists of clearing and grubbing, concrete and asphalt removal, temporary erosion control measures, compaction, general backfill, and cleanup necessary to complete the project, all as shown on the drawings and as specified herein.
All material generated in the aforementioned operations will be hauled off site, The Natural Resources Manager interpretation of all specifications shall be final.
Clear site of trees, shrubs, and other woody vegetation, except those indicated or directed to be left standing. Tree to be kept have been painted with a red line encircling the trunk. Completely remove stumps, roots, boulders and other debris protruding through the ground.
Fill depressions caused by clearing and grubbing and concrete & asphalt removal operations with satisfactory soil materials unless further excavation work is required or indicated.
The project will be a lump sum bid. Additional payments for increased quantities, labor or equipment usage will only be allowed if a change order is warranted due to a change in project scope or unforeseen conditions.
