The work shall consist of the installation of fiber optic cable in conduit, of approximately 7.41 miles, along Burlington Road, Silver Glen Road and Randall Road. The project provides a redundant communication path from the KDOT AOC to the existing traffic signal network. Project includes conduit installation by using 48 single mode and 144 single mode fiber optic and tracer cable in 4-inch diameter coilable non-metallic conduit via directional bore method, handhole placement, fiber slack at key locations and various additional work necessary to complete the improvements.
