The County of Kane (“the County”) and the Kane County Sheriff (“the Sheriff”) are accepting sealed proposals from qualified and experienced Contractor(s) or agencies seeking to retain and establish a contractual agreement to provide the necessary and cost effective inmate medicals and professional services, including but limited to psychological and psychiatric care, social services, dental and pharmaceutical services to approximately 640 residents/detainees at the Kane County Adult Justice Center. The Kane County Adult Justice Center is located at 37W555 Rt. 38. (Suite A) St. Charles, IL 60175.

All proposals must be made on the basis of and either meeting or exceeding the requirements contained herein for inmate medical services, and as prescribed in all applicable standard set by National Commission of Correctional Health Care for Jails. Contractor must be a qualified medical provider in accordance with these specifications. Contractor must be successfully servicing as a medical provider to correctional institutions of a minimum of 600 inmates, for a minimum of ten years. References must be provided.

PROPOSAL CONFRENCE & SITE VISIT: A one-time pre-proposal meeting and site visit is scheduled on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., the Kane County Adult Justice Center located at 37W555 Rt. 38. (Suite A) St. Charles, IL 60175 (main entrance lobby).
