Specific expectations are listed below:

  1. Diagnostic assessments that pinpoint student remediation needs and provide instructional pathways to address identified needs that align to Florida Writing Standards Scoring Rubric.
  2. Software or print material that can provide student practice for identified groups of standards/skills and provide data on student performance.
  3. Software that enables teachers to print materials that target specific standards/skills.
  4. Online repository for digital writing content that can be used to supplement classroom instruction.
  5. All learning materials should be delivered through a platform that enable teachers to tailor assignments to student needs, collaborate with students and track progress by class or by student.
  6. Opportunity to test multiple times to track student growth.
  7. Performance predictions for reporting categories to match Florida State Assessment System.
  8. Ability to lock out test items as desired.
  9. Test Security may be enabled.
  10. Control of testing window.
  1. Reports available for Parent/Teacher Conference.
  2. Reports are in color, specifying achievement levels and proficiency rating.
  3. Reports can be generated by district, school, grade level, teacher, and subgroups.
  4. Reports can be generated in charts, graphs and other graphic representations. 
  5. Reports can be exported to Excel, Word, or PDF.
  6. Reports may be custom designed by working with vendor.

  • All proposals must be submitted electronically through the Florida Purchasing Group, located at https://www.floridabidsystem.com.
  • Only the names of the companies submitting a bid will be called out at the RFP opening per Florida Statute 119.071.
  • Proposals submitted will be publicly reviewed in the Director of Purchasing and Contract Administrator’s office at 8:00AM CDT, October 19, 2018.
