Projects may include, but are not limited to, new construction or renovation of parks and recreation amenities, such as: recreation buildings (gymnasiums, restrooms, shower rooms, concessions, etc.), sports fields (soccer, football, softball, lacrosse, etc.), outdoor courts (tennis, racquetball, basketball, bocce ball, etc.), multi-purpose trails, camping facilities, picnic shelters, playgrounds, spray grounds, swimming pools, skate parks, boat ramps and docks, boardwalks and observation towers, seawalls and maintenance buildings. Supporting amenities may include, but are not limited to, landscaping, irrigation systems, signage, storm water and drainage management systems, utilities, fencing, sidewalks, roads and parking lots. Projects may require the development of designs, preparation of construction and contract documents for both new and renovations to existing amenities. Projects may also require professional oversight of permitting, construction (management) and project closeout activities.
