The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish an Agreement to replace an existing diesel-powered generator with a natural gas-powered generator at Ransom Middle School. Services will include but not be limited to removal of the old generator and associated fuel tank and procurement, delivery, installation, and hook-up of the new generator. This Agreement also includes preventative maintenance and as-needed repairs for the new generator after installation through the warranty period established in Section IV. D (Page 10). See Attachment A for the location and current generator wattage. Upon mutual written agreement and approval of the School Board of Escambia County, Florida, the preventative maintenance and as-needed repair portions of the Agreement will be issued in one (1) year increments for up to a total of five (5) years. The initial term of the Agreement will be August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020. All pricing proposed herein shall be firm throughout the first year of the Agreement.

Roughly thirty (30) minutes shall be taken at the beginning of the conference to review the Request For Proposal (RFP). A site visit at the location identified in Attachment A will immediately follow the RFP review to allow for the inspection of the generator identified for replacement under this Agreement.
