Description

Installation of a GAC Vessel foundation. Construction of four GAC tanks that are planned to be placed on a roughly 15.5 x 64-foot concrete turndown slab. Reportedly, the top of slab is planned to near the existing grade. We understand that the slab is planned to have a 2.5-foot-thick turn down edge section and 1.5-foot-thick main slab. Reportedly, maximum long-term loading across the slab is 1,500 psf and maximum short-term loads are 2,000 psf. We understand that the fill on this project is planned to be less than one foot.
