Description

The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit competitive proposals from one single entity (“Firm” or “Proposer” or “Design-Build Firm (DFB)”), to provide design, permitting, construction, testing and start up the new Federal Courthouse Parking Garage for the City's Transportation and Mobility Department, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation To Bid (ITB).
This project is located at 1000 SE 3rd Avenue, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the design and construction of a (5) Five – Story Pre-Cast Parking Garage with a parking capacity of no less than 284 spaces, compliance with all applicable building codes and permits requirements, including all other aspects of the Project to fulfill the intent of the project as described in the Design Criteria Package and all supporting documents. Note, the proposed construction site has limited staging space and parking facilities. The City is looking to retain services within the scope of architecture or professional engineering and within the scope of construction contracting. The City will solicit proposals and establish a competitive selection process, to procure services of a qualified DFB.

The Procurement Services Division has implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP System is INFOR. As an enterprise system, one of the various modules is the Supplier Portal.
The Supplier Portal is the gateway that allows for the City and Suppliers to connect and conduct business. The Supplier Portal is a one-stop electronic commerce exchange enabling suppliers interested in conducting business with the City to register as a supplier, respond to sourcing events/solicitations, and update their supplier information at any time.

The introduction of this new platform results in the City of Fort Lauderdale no longer using BidSync. All current and future suppliers must now register in INFOR to receive electronic notifications of sourcing events/solicitations, such as an informal quote, Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposals, or Request for Qualifications.
