The City is seeking qualified, licensed architectural firms to provide architectural services for City departments. The City of Sarasota, Florida (City) utilizes contracted services for the provision of architectural services for design, permitting, construction, coordination, and other relevant tasks. The solicitation processes and contracted services under any resulting contract(s) shall be in accordance with Florida Statute 287.055, the Consultant’s Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) and, as applicable, conform to 2 CRF Part 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements for federally funded projects.
The contractor shall perform all services including but not limited to those required to repair, restore, and enhance resiliency for the City of Sarasota’s infrastructure, parks, and public amenities affected by federally declared disaster events. Specifically, The contractor shall perform services related to damages caused by the following federally declared disasters: DR-4806 (Hurricane Debby), DR-4828 (Hurricane Helene), DR-4834 (Hurricane Milton) and future federally declared disasters affecting the City of Sarasota.
The City intends to make multiple awards to create a library (pool) of qualified architectural firms with varying expertise in a broad base of disciplines and specialties. The resulting contract(s) will be for continuing services. Projects and specific scopes of work for the given project or task will be assigned on an as-needed basis and the firm selected for each will be determined at the sole discretion of the City based upon the needed expertise, schedule, and other factors.
