REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR
URBAN DESIGN, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE, AND ENGINEERING SERVICES REQUIRED FOR THE PLANNING, DESIGN, BID AND AWARD, AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION OF PHASES III, IV, AND V OF THE SOUTH POINTE STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The purpose of issuing this Request for Qualifications is to obtain qualifications from professional firms to provide urban design, landscape architecture and engineering services required for the planning, design bid and award, and construction administration of phases III, IV, and V of the South Pointe Streetscape Improvement Project. The scope of the work encompasses the restoration and enhancement of streets and infrastructure consistent with the South Pointe Master Plan. Phases III, IV, and V of the project will include streetscape work with restoration and enhancement of the roadway, sidewalk, irrigation, landscaping, lighting, potable water, sanitary sewer and storm drainage infrastructure as is determined to be necessary.
Sealed qualifications will be received at 3:00 PM on February 10, 2004 at the following address:
City of Miami Beach, City Hall - Procurement Division, Third Floor, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139.
Any response received after 3:00 PM on February 10, 2004 will be returned to the proposer unopened. The responsibility for submitting qualifications before the stated time and date is solely strictly the responsibility of the proposer. The City will not be responsible for delays caused by mail, courier service, including U.S. Mail, or any other occurrence.
A Pre-RFQ Submission Conference is scheduled for January 28, 2004 at the following address: City of Miami Beach, City Hall, Fourth Floor City Manager’s Large Conference Room, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida. YOU ARE HEREBY ADVISED THAT THIS RFQ IS SUBJECT TO THE "CONE OF SILENCE, " IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. 2002-3378. A COPY OF ALL WRITTEN COMMUNICATION (S) REGARDING THIS BID MUST BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK.
