Central Florida Expressway Authority requires the services of a Professional Engineering Consultant to provide final design and preparation of construction drawings / specifications for the proposed S.R. 534 from Sunbridge Parkway Connector to south of Cyrils Drive - Segment 6.
The services will include final design and preparation of construction drawings / specifications for the proposed S.R. 534 Segment 6 from Sunbridge Parkway Connector to S. of Cyrils Drive. Specifically, the project will consist of constructing approximately 2.2 miles of a new four-lane limited access highway with bridges at Sunbridge Parkway Connector, and Cyrils Drive. The Sunbridge Parkway Connector interchange ramps to/from the east will be constructed with the mainline. The project will tie into CFX project 534-244 to the north, and 534-267 to the south. The project will also include signalized intersections at Sunbridge Parkway Connector and interchange ramps.
Additional elements include surveying, drainage evaluation and design, permitting, lighting, signing and pavement markings, signalization, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) (i.e., fiber optic network), tolling, maintenance of traffic (MOT), utility design and coordination, geotechnical analysis, scheduling and project control, progress reporting and other tasks and associated activities. Close coordination with the Tavistock Development Company, Osceola County, OUC, Toho Water Authority, South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and the adjacent projects will be required.
