BCU-002 - Restoration of The Historic Mary McLeod Bethune Home

Bethune-Cookman University (BCU) seeks proposals from Professional Historic Preservation Architects with demonstrated experience in the restoration of buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The University seeks a Licensed Architect for the preparation of construction drawings which will be used for bidding purposes and construction, consistent with the University’s restoration as directed from the African American Historical and Cultural Grant from the State of Florida, Department of State (Cultural Grant), for the restoration of the “Historic Mary McLeod Bethune Home” (Bethune Home).
The University is implementing restoration of the existing house for the purposes damage assessment and creating complete construction documents for conducting repairs and restoration of the findings.
