Summary of Specifications:
The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified Contractors capable of performing a wind retrofit on the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Facility located at 3421 N. Hwy 77, Panama City, FL 32405 . The facility shall be retrofitted/constructed in accordance with Attachment 1 bid specifications The Contractor shall be responsible for complete furnishing and installing of construction materials including site preparation, demolition, disposal, building construction with insulation, and all other work associated with the complete construction, site restoration and clean-up. The project is a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Contract 13-SR-AA-01-13-01-342. It is imperative that the awarded Contractor examine and become familiar with the grant conditions established by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM). Funding for the project has been made possible through this grant and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by FDEM.
