Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals for the University of Wyoming and the State of Wyoming to select a Wyoming-based craft beer partner with strong communication, branding, marketing, production, and distribution capabilities.

The proposal is to produce a co-branded craft product to tell the story (the history, pride and tradition) of the Bucking Horse and Rider (BH&R) and the University of Wyoming (UW). This RFP does contemplate both a branded craft beer featuring the BH&R and the state of Wyoming’s red, white and blue design as well as a UW craft beer in a brown and gold design that may feature the BH&R, Pistol Pete, or other UW marks. It is anticipated that State of Wyoming branded craft and the UW craft will be rolled out strategically at different times of the year (i.e., prior to football season for the UW craft and prior to summer tourism and rodeo season for the State of Wyoming craft).

Additional Bidding Instructions

Questions regarding this RFP must be in writing and be directed to the University via the BidNet platform any time after the issuance of this RFP through and including 2:00 p.m. MDT on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Questions received after the date/time and/or not submitted electronically through the BidNet platform may not be addressed. Each question submitted, as well as the University’s response thereto, shall be provided in a questions and answers document/addendum via www.bidnetdirect.com. Note: Every question must be submitted individually. Multiple questions per entry may not be answered.

The University will only accept and consider electronically submitted proposals from Crafters, which must be submitted and received in the www.bidnetdirect.com electronic solicitation portal on or before 2:00 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at which time the submission portal will close and no further submissions be allowed or considered. It is the sole responsibility of the Crafters to see that the response to the RFP is submitted through the BidNet portal by the submission deadline. Responses received after this date and time or outside of BidNet will be deemed non-responsive.
