Carollo Engineers, Inc. (Engineer), on behalf of the Town of Telluride (Town) is requesting technical and cost proposals from dewatering press system manufacturers, also known as the Vendor, for pre-selection and submittal services for the upcoming Dewatering Redundancy Project. The Town will evaluate and preselect one manufacturer to furnish the redundant dewatering press system for installation at the existing plant. The system will include one volute dewatering press with two dewatering drums, one mixing and flocculation tank, controls, and polymer equipment. The new polymer blending and feed equipment will include a polymer activation and blending chamber, dilution water assembly, solution discharge assembly, system skid, progressive cavity neat polymer metering pump, and electrical junction box. The redundant dewatering press system will be provided by a single Vendor, each of these system components will include all materials to support an operational and functional installation that satisfies the requirements contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP) document and associated Technical Specifications. The Town will contract directly with the pre-selected Vendor to provide submittals and shop drawings for review and approval.
