General Information:
The Town of Ignacio (Town) is seeking IT technical support for systems and equipment used by the Town and within Town facilities. The Town utilizes servers, individual workstations (approx. 15), Wi-Fi networks, owns dark fiber, and has typical governmental computing needs.
Proposal Requirements:
Interested applicants shall submit a proposal identifying individual or company support capabilities and list current clients (with current contact information) who require similar IT support. Proposals shall list proposed service costs and assigned staff who will work on Town systems. The proposal must clearly detail all support capabilities and illustrate a basic understanding of the Town systems and needs.
The Town will need an IT assessment which would include options for a new server(s) or cloud based functions. An IT assessment was completed in 2016 and is available for review upon request.
Selection Process and Criteria:
The Town will review all proposals and interview selected individuals or companies. Local IT support is preferred and preference may be given to qualified applicants living within Town boundaries. The Town would like to contract for services by August 26, 2022, but will continue to seek support until the request is filled. References will be checked, and the Town will require the completion and execution of an Independent Contractor Agreement.
