Description

The Town of Firestone seeks RFQ proposals from qualified and experienced police records consultants to conduct a comprehensive operational assessment of the Police Department Records Unit.
The Firestone Police Department Records Unit manages critical information related to law enforcement activities, including reports, case files, and other vital records. The goal of this operational assessment is to identify areas for operational enhancement, improve efficiency, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and prepare for the transition from our current Central Square Records Management System (RMS) to the Axon RMS platform, scheduled for implementation in late 2025.
The consultant will be tasked with evaluating workflows, recommend improvements to increase efficiency, and reviewing existing policies and procedures to suggest enhancements. Additionally, the consultant may be required to conduct a representative sample audit of NIBRS entries.
