Description

The Town of Severance, Colorado (“Town”), is soliciting written proposals for Professional Civil
Engineer (“CE”) Design Services from qualified consultants. The Town is conducting a
Qualifications Based Selection process to retain a CE firm for final design services for arterial
roadway improvements. The scope of the project will include existing conditions investigation
and assessment, horizontal layout, vertical design, signing and pavement markings, traffic
signal design, drainage assessment and design, construction drawings, and bidding documents.
The services provided by the selected consultant/consultant team will include the civil
engineering/roadway design, utility relocation design (if required), traffic engineering, and
geotechnical engineering.

The Town of Severance intends to construct improvements to the WCR 74 - WCR 21
intersection based on the recommendation of the Traffic Impact Study, completed by the Town.
While the complete intersection improvements will be designed, it is the intent of the Town to
construct improvements in phases as warranted by development.
