Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Parker, Colorado, is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified seasonal outdoor ice skating operators with a strong background in the operation and maintenance of high quality seasonal outdoor ice skating venues. The selected operator will manage, operate and maintain the Plaza on Main Ice Ribbon as a first class outdoor seasonal ice skating facility. The services to be provided include management, maintenance and operation of the ice ribbon as a public venue in accordance with a formal contract agreement. The successful proposer shall operate the Plaza on Main Ice Ribbon as an ice skating facility available for use by the general public with sufficient personnel to maintain the facility and grounds, collect fees, schedule ice time and ensure a continuous operation on a seasonal basis. The Plaza on Main Ice Ribbon facility is located on Mainstreet in the historic downtown area of Parker, Colorado. The Town of Parker intends to enter into a contract which will indicate the parameters of the operation, scheduling and maintenance of the facility, any equipment to be provided by the operator and the financial terms of the contract. The Town of Parker is seeking an ice skating management firm with adequate background to operate the Plaza on Main Ice Ribbon in a manner such that residents and visitors to the Town of Parker will be provided with an ice skating facility that is professionally managed, expertly maintained and properly staffed.
