Description

The Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department (CRFD) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to develop a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) for the Town of Castle Rock (Town). The CWPP will serve as a framework for a comprehensive long-term resiliency plan for the incorporated geographic area of the Town. The CWPP will develop a plan to identify and prioritize fuel reduction treatment, wildfire hazard mitigation, regulation of structure ignition, and public education and outreach efforts. The CWPP will provide a methodology for monitoring progress and accomplishments. The plan will establish current baseline conditions in the Town and identify recommended actions for both short and long term efforts.

By submitting a proposal, proposer hereby certifies that at the time of this certification, proposer does not knowingly employ or contract with an illegal alien; and that proposer has participated or attempted to participate in the E-verify program or the Department program, as defined in C.R.S. §§ 8-17.5-101(3.3) and 8-17.5-102(3.7), respectively, in order to confirm the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired for employment to perform the work under the public contract for services.
Respondents are required to submit three (3) bound copies of the proposal. All proposals must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. MST August 25, 2017, at the Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department, 300 Perry Street. Respondents should also submit an electronic copy of the proposal upon request.
Proposals may be either mailed or hand delivered. The Respondent shall be responsible for the actual delivery of the proposal to the proper office before the deadline. Any proposals received afte
