Description

The Pueblo West Metropolitan District (“District”) is accepting bids from qualified Contractors. In general, this project will consist of the construction of a non-potable water reuse system at the Pueblo West Metropolitan District wastewater treatment facility (WWFT), including but not limited to, booster pump system with three pumps (jockey, duty with VFD, and standby pump with VFD), a manual duplex basket strainer, a sodium hypochlorite chlorination system, an automatic backwash in-line filter, an in-line magnetic flow meter, a hydropneumatic tank, and associated valving and appurtenances, effluent reuse distribution site piping network consisting of buried pipe with tracer wire and trench tape, frosting proof yard hydrants, secondary clarifier spray water nozzles for both clarifiers and clarifier scum pits, electrical wiring, programmable logic controller modifications, and completion of all associated site work relating to the non-potable water reuse system.

Event Note

Pre-bid meeting will be held in groups of no more than 10 individuals at a time, in 45-minute time slots in order to comply with the Governor’s orders regarding COVID-19 public health concerns, starting at the time indicated below. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times during the walkthrough, including face masks. Interested parties must contact George Reichert and Jeffrey DeHerrera with the District via email (greichert@pwmd-co.us, jdeherrera@pwmd-co.us) by 3:00 PM on Friday May 22 to allow for proper scheduling of groups. A maximum of one attendee per company is requested to comply with COVID-19 requirements. All individuals planning on attending must complete the District's COVID-19 questionnaire the morning of the meeting and have a signed copy for District personnel. Addenda will be posted only on the RMEPS websites. It is the bidder’s responsibility to verify, via one of the above websites, whether any addenda were issued.
