IFB-09-608-001 - New PSD Warehouse Pallet Racks and Shelving Units

Summary of Specifications:
PSD has outgrown the current warehouse facility (24,000 square feet, located at 2413 LaPorte Avenue in the PSD administrative complex). Location of the new facility (Prospect and Timberline) is more efficient than the current location for deliveries, loading, repackaging, unloading, and transporting materials back to schools. It will be used as a warehouse for both food and supplies for 50 schools and 25,000 students, in a district that covers 1,800 square miles. PSD materials management and food service staff will move to the new facility. This bid will outline the required pallet racking and shelving to facilitate the warehousing of PSD goods. Currently the 30,000 sq ft warehouse portion of the facility has no pallet racking or shelving.
